Oε CAPS – Zero Oxidation, Zero Inflammation
Oε CAPS is a food supplement developed with a combination of the 3 main antioxidants (zinc, selenium and manganese) involved in the powerful action of sunflower and olive oils, making it the most powerful ally for healthy ageing and oxidation, senescence and degeneration.
Oε CAPS have a powerful blend of Olive Oil and Sunflower Oil, used to promote defence against the free radicals that damage our bodies and increase the risk of degenerative diseases, especially those related to increased oxidative stress and premature ageing. These oils have a direct effect on inflammatory bowel disease and also have an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and revitalising effect.
ZINC is essential for cell metabolism as it is a vital catalyst for hundreds of enzymatic processes as well as playing an essential role in boosting immune function, protein and DNA synthesis, healing, cell division and signalling, regulation of several mechanisms within the brain, antioxidant regulation and anti-ageing. Zinc can also act on the increase of cortisol, the decrease in neurogenesis and neural plasticity and the disruption of glutamate homeostasis caused by acute metabolic stress and is useful in cases of age-related macular degeneration, type 2 diabetes and in all kinds of infectious and inflammatory situations.
MANGANESE can help the body in tissue production (especially bone and connective tissue), coagulation factors, hormones (especially sex hormones) and plays an extraordinarily important role in carbohydrate metabolism, calcium absorption, blood sugar regulation as well as being essential for normal nerve and brain function and in the formation of superoxide dismutase (SOD), the main mitochondrial detoxifier.
SELENIUM plays critical roles in reproduction, thyroid hormone metabolism, DNA synthesis, protection against infections and oxidative damage. Selenium can regulate thyroid dysfunctions, but also oxidative function and inflammatory pathways by attenuating inflammation.
